The UK's largest fashion trade exhibition
MODA is held twice a year in Birmingham to showcase the industries Spring Summer and Autumn Winter collections.
Over 400 brands attend to present the largest variety of new season styles across women’s, men’s and kid’s footwear.
The show gives access to a large and assorted range of footwear from independent retailers to e-retailers and department store giants.
We attended the show this year to see how the footwear industry will take shape next season.
SS18 shows us a mix of block heels with high shine finishes. Seamed & woven leather paired with square toes, and there’s an abundance of smooth suede! Lots of ‘pull tabs’ which we at Phineas, call ‘heel loops’ and texture features heavily. MODA gave us the chance to see what’s coming our way next year and such an incredible networking opportunity.

As we’re attending Global Shop next year in Chicago, visiting MODA also gave us inspiration around display and presentation. We saw such an incredible array of stands!
